I have a 99 Honda Civic when I turn the key over if the check engine light doesn’t come on the fuel pump won’t prime and the car won’t start it will turn over but not start. If the check engine light comes on the fuel pump primes and the car will start but I can’t find a common factor as to why this is happening can anyone help

what code?
some connectors loose somewhere? wire damage?
pull check and put back fuses to see if is just loose fuses? know a guy that knocked a fuse out of place when removing a different fuse

No codes checked fuses and connections wire not in a sleeve looks fine it’s very random as to when it will and won’t start

Fuel pump - it's from the front all the way to the rear, no pinched wires anywhere?

Duh I knew that lol ya know it just pops on when you turn the key over just before you start it The battery light the oil light the seat belt light and the check engine light all come on when you turn key over then goes off when you start it but if the check engine light doesn’t come on then you can’t hear the fuel pump and the car won’t start just turn over

ahhh, OK, so sometimes the CEL will not turn on when it should, did not get that detail.
bad connection somewhere most likely, either connection or damaged wire or the sorts. Worst case would be an ECU issue
