Have a P1259 code.
oil pressure switch always metering 12v to ground from connector wire to ground. (metering the switch shows open circuit)
Activating vtec by applying +12 volt to pin on solenoid connector does not change the voltage reading at pressure switch. is this indicating bad oil pressure switch or vtec solenoid

if engine oil is low, it will happen.
check engine oil levels

Oil just changed. Thought that might be the problem. oil was quite dirty.

then it is electrical. unless they did not put enough oil there. or some debri got into the oil passages

Have a "CheckEngine" Light on.
if it is a bad pressure switch will it still show this light on or "Oil" light
