Hi everyone,

I have a honda civic coupe 8th gen and I tried replacing the glass on my side mirror because its cracked. I was able to remove the glass with the backing no problem. I bought a new glass + backing (it came with it) and I cant seem to clip it on. It takes 15 mins to replace but this one turned into an hour+ and still not successful...

I got the piece oem from a Honda dealership and comparing the old one to the new one they are identical!!

I tried pushing it from corner to corner, side to side, top then bottom, etc and guess what still not working...

Its loose right now but I need my car.

Am I skipping a step? Am I doing something wrong? Because it dosent take a master's degree to replace a side mirror glass.

Please help!! Thank youuu!!
