okay so somebody ripped off my passenger mirror and I guess stole it My problem is, I bought a new mirror but i didn't realize that I was missing a piece. In b\w the mirror itself and the motor there is a plate that the mirror attaches to. It is circular and attaches from the mirror to the motor. My problem is that I've checked the honda parts from hondaautomotiveparts and it doesn't show that piece. I called honda and they told me I have to buy the whole entire assembly . Is that true, does anybody know if i can only get that one piece. I dont wanna buy a whole new assembly if i dont have too. I have a 2001 civic lx coupe. Maybe someone has a mirror assembly laying around that i can get that piece from??

not the glass....i already have that. it's the piece behind the glass that connects to the power actuator. the glass is glued to the piece (it's actually a sticker) that i need. That piece connects the glass to the actuator. that's the piece i need.
