Ok so I've got my 2006 civic lx sedan.
A while back I had an accident, going literally 2 mph...unfortunately though the tail gate of a truck was down and caught the right front fender of the car and peeled it like a tin can.

Got it fixed at the insurance companies "preferred auto repair facility", despite my protest the car was still in my parents name so they went ahead...

Well to be honest I'm not sure how long this noise has been there,it may or may not have been caused by the accident, but regardless...

When I'm driving,especially at highway speed, and hit bumps SOMETIMES I hear a little rattle,almost like a screw is bouncing around...but it's only sometimes...
It seems that I'll hear it a lot for a while,then it goes away for a while and comes back etc.

Now I'm fairly certain it's something loose,I'm just wondering if there is anyway for me to get in there myself to check it out.
Now I am 90% sure the rattle is in the fender,but I can't be 100% sure because I only hear it while I am driving and on the other side of the car,other people in the car have heard it...it's not loud, but still annoying...

Our '06 EX has had an unsettling heavy rattle that sounds as if it's coming from the right front since it was new. The dealer tried several fixes in the first year we owned it. From a general survey for a loose part or wrench to replacement of the front strut and even an engine mount. It never went away, but it seems we've gotten used to it. I hope you have better luck!
