Weird noise need help
Ok. so i was teaching my girlfriend how to drive a stick and she popped my clutch and knocked it dead. she gave up after one try, but needless to say when i went to crank it my horn goes off now by its self when its under 1000 rpm. i know its bad wiring has to be but which wire could it be? ill take any advice i can, real annoying to keep having to rev up at stop signs, red lights, drive thru everywhere. or how to rev my car up to 1000 and stay.

Pull the fuse for the horn for now.
So if its just sitting there idling the horn is going off and then when you increase the RPM of the engine past 1000 the horn stops?

tried that already. still goes off and yeah its like the lower my rpms the louder the horn at like 900 rpm(guess) is faint horn and at 600 (guess) its loud af and it goes with my idle but soon as i touch the gas and it revs over 1000 horn stops
If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Was the drivers airbag recall just done, now the horn pad is too sensitive or it honks on bumps, or just vibrations?
Re: Weird noise need help
To disable the horn temporarily while you figure out the problem is to remove the horn relay. It is relay B in the under-hood fuse/relay box http://troubleshootmyvehicle.com/hon...-hood-fuse-box
