Drive cycle test
Drive cycle test
Guys I'm looking for some help please I have a 2005 Honda Civic I replaced the purge valve canister I've replaced the charcoal canister and solenoid at the back and the front spent approximately $400
after doing the repairs I've done multiple vehicle drives on it cold starts approximately 400 km and every time I run the test on my OBD2 scanner the emissions evaporative system just comes up and read it with no error codes so I'm under the assumption that a full drive cycle test hasn't been completed on it but after doing 400 km on it what more do I need to do I've done local driving I've done highway driving I'm just kind of at a loss I need to get this test done so I can get my car in to be tested any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Re: Drive cycle test
You can check the monitor status without your reader too:
Turn key to run position but do not start the engine
Stare at the CEL for about 30 seconds. If it blinks several times, that means all monitors have not completed.
If it turns off without any blinks that means all have completed.
Check your local emissions testing rules, many allow up to two incomplete readiness monitors to pass as long as there are no fault codes.
Drive cycles can be a real PITA to actually drive and run tests.

I've also gone out and bought a new gas cap but now I'm told that I'll have to wait for it to complete another drive cycle so we'll see what happens today
Re: Drive cycle test
I did what you said the engine light did blink 5 times I've still don't know what that means but I drove to work and parked my car redone a check and as you can see by the attached photos everything passed thank you so much for your help and greatly appreciate it thank you..... maybe I should also mention when I read the test when I park my car at that time the engine light went on solid and then just went out as it should.
