DIY Diagnostics???
My check engine light came on the other day. Does any one know how to do a home diagnostics test? I know on older Civics you can do the test with a paper clip, does anyone know if you can do a similar test on an '02 Civic?
Autozone...
Best way to do it:
Go to Autozone and ask to borrow a scanner. Give them your drivers license so they know you won't walk off with it and they have a nice OBD-II scanner they let you use. the one by me even prints error codes in plain english. Do some homework beforehand and you should be golden. I think they let you do it as many times as you need to, just have to be in their parking lot so you don't drive off with their merchandise.
Hope that helps.
