In the next few days I will be driving in the North of the country with temperatures that are forecast to be close to 0 degrees F. I am considering masking the front grill with tape to prevent the engine from running too cool. Would that be a idea?
Thanks

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I'll take 'Thermostats' for $100, Alex....

Depends on how much snow.
All season tires with good tread depth work well ----to a point.
If OP has never driven in snow.....there's a fast and steep learning curve LOL
ABS action will likely be a new experience too.
If ICE is encountered and he's never been on it, all bets are off.
Black ice can be deadly.
