Check Engine Light on!
Re: Check Engine Light on!
The tcc solenoid is on the top side of the trans. It is down and a little away from the egr. It is a single solenoid, two wire connector. Held on with 1 6mm bolt(10mm) size wrench needed. I know, had to replace mine. I will take a picture of the old one and the solenoid on the car if you need it. Like said, that is the one code that is circuit related, not mechanical (that code states it). My old one was good, wasn't the problem. I got it offline for 30 or 40 bucks. 200 bucks is obsurd. Don't let anyone tell you aftermarket won't work either. Mine has 20000 miles on it and almost a year, still working. The OEM one is the one laying in my shop. Aftermarket is still on the car.
and you don't "have to" take the airbox off. It does make it easier, but it isn't a have too.... I didn't. I do have long skinny fingers and been a mechanic for a long time, so used to working in weird positions.

That's not the TCC solenoid. That is the shift solenoids.
Again...The TCC solenoid is #4 here:

Re: Check Engine Light on!
here yu go bro =D... hope this is it. i took my intake filter off and i have an after market intake. your engine bay will have the stock intake in the way but it's really easy to take off and on. this view is looking from the passanger's side into the engine bay. you can see the fuse box on the left and the batery on the right.

here's how to remove the stock intake. you'll also have to remove a bolt that holds the intake tube on. it's pretty easy to find. after that you can just pull it out of the intake box. then look at the diagram bellow to remove the bolts and ring in order to remove the intake. make sure to unplug the air sensor on the intake before trying to lift the intake box off the throttle body, to avoid damaging it.

But a couple things came up i tried to take off the airbox but couldnt due to the fact that there were two nuts that were in awkward places. also the pcm connectors thats under the steering wheel where the fuses are correct?

i found the piece but idk where the pcm connectors are or how to get to it! also i was not able to remove the airbox because the nuts were stuck on it
Re: Check Engine Light on!
You mean the ones that plug into the ECM/PCM ? The ECM/PCM is behind the glovebox. Open the glovebox, pop out the stop on each side and let the door swing all the way down. You should then see the ECM/PCM. The connectors are, in order: A, B, C, etc... from the bottom up.
Re: Check Engine Light on!
Btw i took it to get it fixed and he tried to charge me 65 dollars just to plug it into the computer plus whatever labor and parts it would take to fix it!
