warranty issues

man this blows, i asked my dealer if i add any parts if it'll void my warranty. and it seems like if i add anything, including stereo upgrades, i'll void my warranty! and i told them like if i add a bolt on part, that it wont void a warranty unless it is proven to be the cause of the problem. and they still said no, it'll void your warranty. its in your manual..... [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] I HATE DEALERSHIPS! i thought it was a law that dealerships couldnt void warranties from bolt on upgrades unless it is proven to be the cause. this true?

Some dealerships (sounds like yours is!) are real "hard-nosed" on those issues.

grrr... we might.. lucky they didnt open the trunk today cuz i got my subs in there.. i have a toggle switch by the cig lighter but they didnt ask about that.. i should just do it any. would the place that installs the muffler take care of my car if i ever get muffler problems?
