CEL Came on. Rocker Arm?

My car (2004 Civic Si) just hit 14,950 miles.. Well when I looked up it said that amount and then my CEL was on.. my friend hooked up one of his obd(sp) readers and it found a code..

This is exactly what it said on there.. and it makes me nervous

P2646 MOD$11 1/1
Rocker Arm
Actuator A - Bank 1
Perf. or Stuck off

Light came on at 14,950...

I do need a oil change, and my car was doing this wierd hesistating thing around certain RPM's.. like 4000-5500.... it is just.. a very wierd sound.. the car loses power too. But ever since I put my stock intake back in kinda went away or so I thought. It did it tonight so. I'm taking it to honda tomorrow.. Anyone have any suggestions or anything

Alright. I would NEVER mess with the valves, springs, or rocker arms. I'll change my oil tomorrow and make an appointment with Honda then. Still bothers me though how this could happen.

Like I tell other people, it doesnt matter how many miles are on your car, problems can and will happen. Alot of people on here have had 3 new trannies before 50k miles, others have had new engine before 50k miles, others have had struts replaced countless times. I on the other hand am at 86k miles on the same engine and tranny with no problems yet.

**** happens. I work at mercedes, and I have seen cars in the shop before they even have 10 miles on them. One had a severe knocking noise at 8 miles. Turned out in needed new lifters.

You never know, it might not be a big deal.

Yea, you are right. I'll take it to Honda after I do the oil change. Hopefully it's nothing big, but i'll keep you guys updated.
