Key Stuck in Ignition, Not Sure What to Do

2007 Honda Civic, Automatic DX
Was driving it normally today and then the key got stuck, managed to pull it out with pure luck and thought nothing about it but now it happened again and I cant get it out.
I have tried the following things:
* The car is properly Parked, all the mechanism under there is working, the dashboard also shows "P"
* Tried the shift lock overload method, did not work.
* Sprayed WD40 a couple of times, no luck.
*Adjusted the shifter and the steering wheel multiple times , no luck.

What should I do? Im a student and I have been taking care of my car properly but I have no clue what to do now because as a student can not afford to go over my budget.

Tumblers may have worn out and jammed the key, can you still turn it normally? It just won't come out?

I can still turn the key normally to turn on and off the car, but the key stops right before reaching the "O" position and then it does not come out.

You putting the car in park? If it doesn't go into park the key will not turn off or come out. Does the light in the dash show it's in park?

Not sure if it is the case, but the key get locked, and the gears also loked (cannot move the shifter) but it will allow you to turn the car on and off. If that is the case, on the top right corner of the gear change in the console, there is a little cover tab; take it out, insert a flat head screwdriver in the hole, and you will feel something been moved. It will lose the trans. and allow you to start changing gears again, as also permit that you take the key out. If it works, I would take a look in the condition of the Transmission Fluid

I was forgetting something really important: remember to do that with your foot on the brake pedal, it is always safer
