Studder/ hesitation after clutch replacement

2007 Honda Civic Lx manual. 121k miles
have had the car almost two months.
took it to my mechanic and got the clutch and flywheel replaced. I immediately noticed after that there’s a major studder when trying to accelerate after shifting.
First and second gear are fine, accelerating through those pretty good. But accelerating through third and through fourth it’s almost like it bogs down and I can feel the car jerking or like almost lose power for a second. and it’s accelerating pretty slow compared to what it used to.
was a pretty quick car, and now it feels under powered. Mechanic is booked out for like three weeks and I needed my car back so I didn’t have him look over it again.
i checked my spark plugs and they were pretty gross, so I changed them, torqued them to spec, and it seemed to idle more steadily.
Then checked all my fluids again, did a slightly early oil change, and checked my coolant levels. All was good there.
Checked my battery and noticed it was not doing so hot so cleaned up the terminals and connectors, and replaced the battery. but it’s still doing it.

It’ll have to wait he’s booked out 3 weeks. And I don’t have another car so I can’t just leave it there.
