Honda act's funny on quick acceleration

Hi all I have a 2015 Honda civic lx coupe with a manual transmission. I have noticed that when I accelerate quickly (sometime have to to get on the highways) when I get to just under 3000 rpm my Honda will aggressively jerk and then will begin accelerating normally after 3000 rpm. If I easy into acceleration it doesnt have the same issue (or it's small enough I dont feel it) this happens in all gears that i accelerate from below 3000 rpm quickly. After 3000 rpm i can accelerate however i want to and it has no issues. Any idea on what this could be?

Re: Honda act's funny on quick acceleration

if you still have powertrain warranty, you are better off going to the dealer.
If your engine knowledge is not good, you are better off dropping the car in a shop. (internet help depends on you to do the diagnostics)
If something sounds fish, gather as much information as you can and come back here.

moving thread to engine section.
