Anyone get A/C working on a K-Pro D17?

'05 EX Coupe M/T
I put in a K-Pro with the AEM D17 timing gear, now, the A/C doesn't work
I read somewhere Hondata can't incorporate the A/C to work since the stock ECU modulates "stuff" with the engine when the A/C compressor kicks on.
...
Do I have to wait until I k-swap this thing to get A/C working again??

Anyone have A/C with the K-Pro on the stock D17?

Check Hondata's website. You've been able to run KPro on D17's for years.

You can pre-order one from HAMotorsport. That’s where I got mine. I bought mine back in June before they sold out. They’re reputable.

the A/C works

I forgot to plug in the evap temp sensor

what are the gains with a K-pro? I race a 7th gen on dirt and pavement and I need everything I can get BUT when tech opens the hood it needs to look "stock" I don't need more RPM/s I need torque and HP. Are there maps for changing timing and fuel?

My A/C doesn’t work. I contacted Hondata and they said it’s not the kpro issue. I couldn’t figure it out. So I just hot wire mine to a switch and use it when really needed. Usually just rolling the windows down is okay with me.

in can unlock locked power if you have already done mods.
if no mods, not likely to get much.

as proof, the crower stage 1 cam (discontinued) in a D17A2 does not need a hondata to unlock potential - just drop the cam in and it gets a lot more power/torque.
