My airbag light came on and won’t go back out I’ve searched forums and YouTube and other stuff on Google and I did the diagnostics and it flashes really fast goes out flashes really fast again goes out and then flashes like once and goes back out and then comes on and stays on tried resetting it it will not reset I’m going to post a video maybe somebody might have some input on it of what it is had shrink length of video but it stays on after last flash

if it comes back after resetting, it really have a problem
take to a dealer, it's a safety item.

Any idea what the code is tho and how do I reset I read something about it and tried it but it was late and dark so I’m try again after work tomorrow

Check for active recalls. Tons of issues with the Takata airbags over the last several generations of civic.

The other main option is probably one of the deflators failing. Not easy to do by yourself and not cheap either.

I recently had the side air bag light come on, stay on, sometimes go out for a while and then come back on steady. After a little research I discovered that the passenger seat belt was wrapped around the seat-back lever. After untangling it, I never had another problem. Save a few hundred $$ and check out the simple things first before heading off to the dealer.
