Rumble Strip Sound After Turning

After I turn the car, usually right turns and then straighten up and accelerate (especially after getting off an exit)
the car makes a sound like it's gone off a highway and onto a rumble strip. The vibration happens around 40-50 mph
and then stops when I get up to speed. Someone suggested to me that it was a bad CV axle, but it's not the
usual clicking sounds people with this problem describe. It's more of a vibration. A shuddering rumble.
The rubber boots don't feel broken but I can't really see them. Could this still be a bad CV axle?

Re: Rumble Strip Sound After Turning

Inner CV joints are known to rumble, also possible failed motor mount or control arm bushing can get “loaded” during the turn resulting in metal to metal contact and that growl.

Re: Rumble Strip Sound After Turning

My guess is a bad front driver's side wheel bearing. Bad bearings will produce a hum sound.

Re: Rumble Strip Sound After Turning

It won't be an Lca bushing those make a pop-pop sound while driving over bumps.

......

As stated above, if its while you are turning right that means the suspension is loaded on the left. So its most likely a left wheel bearing.

(if the CV boots are intact, then they should be fine).
