Hmm... I think a wheel bearing is more when your driving all the time. CV joints generally make a clicking sound. What about your compliance bushings? They might be torn and binding.

I get the exact same thing. Usually when I make a right hand turn a little faster than normal. Originally I thought it might be related to the inner plastic fender protector thing, but I'll check my bushings as well.

I think you are right about the popping sound. It is more likely CV joint.
Loose lugs can also make a clicking/popping sound sound (I am not gonna tell you how I know that lol).
