Exclamation No pressure at clutch after replacing CMC and SC

So as the title states after replacing my clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and much bleeding. I have absolutely no pressure at the pedal and I'm not really sure why. Any suggestions I always appreciated thank you!

Re: No pressure at clutch after replacing CMC and SC

I was not able to effectively bleed mine with the slave installed on the tranny.

I ended up unmounting it, flipping it over so I it was above the battery tray making the bleeder screw the highest point and I still had issues trying to pump the system, keep the pressure from popping out the slave piston and keeping the bleeder screw from allowing bubbles of air to enter.

Definately wished I had a functional vacuum bleeder when I did it..

could you explain your method a little better to me and are you referring to a bench bleed I did neither to the mcm or sc (btw the mcm was a nightmare to install on my 2003 civic) ? thanks man.

Re: No pressure at clutch after replacing CMC and SC

I was doing mine as a “bonus” step when I replaced my engine and ISB and stuff.

So I already had the whole intake boxes off and battery out and that allowed me to loosen the brackets holding the clutch line and swing the whole assembly around.
