Angry help lol

head gasket or water pump?? i have pressure on the radiator idk if it’s exactly proper but i do have pressure and after reaching normally operating temp i get stem from radiator cap. replaced thermostat, sensor for thermostat, rad cap and i’m still loosing fluid. no leaks as far as i’ve noticed. just burning off coolant steam from cap. no nicks where the cap goes. new radiator about 6 months ago. if i open rad cap and start the car i get bubbles constantly. i can continually refill as it goes down and continues to go down. heat works fine. gauge stays right below halfway. am 100% gauge works properly. i do get a serious belt squeal every now and then which pushes me toward pump and not gasket. clean oil no milky. no major sweet smelling smoke.

Re: help lol

What year and trim Civic do you have?

Pressure in the cooling system is normal, steam is not though. Possibly you have a leak?

Re: help lol

02?!? Surely not a 10th generation civic, it's a 7th generation civic, famous for blowing headgaskets and losing coolant through the overflow reservoir.

If you googled to search the forums, you should have been able to search the forums to find out that fact...

moving to proper section of the forums.
Read around that section before asking. saves you and us time to explain all over again.

link didn’t work. i’ve googled around quite a bit. i was honestly thinking the head gasket but i wanted a for sure way to test it because i’m sure you know but requires taking both manifolds off with the top of the engine belts and all so didn’t want to waste time.
