I picked up this civic october of last year for 1200 bucks. The door locks, key chime, door chime, and ac havent worked since i bought the car. I could make the car beep with the remote and it sounded like it was locking the car but it wouldnt. Eventually that stopped working too. The BRAKE light on the cluster also stays on. None if this affects the drivability its just annoying. Ive done all my research and tested every fuse and relay in the underhood and underdash fuse boxes and they are all good. Everything I research comes back to a faulty MICU. Its getting real hot and this is my daily driver so any help would be appreciated!

door locks - usual culprit is broken wires at the door hinge
AC is not related to multiplex

Brake warning light - check the parking brake lever switch

Does anyone know if replacing the multiplex unit with affect the immobilizer? I dont want to replace it and then be left with it not starting

1. there are electrical items that we already pointed you to look at before going into electronical parts. HAVE YOU DONE the checks?!? If not, get off the chair in front of the computer and go do them.
2. You seem obsessed with MICU, care to explain why?
