2007 civic ex sedan door lock/ battery dying issue
2007 civic ex sedan door lock/ battery dying issue
New battery and all is good even alternator. whenever i take the negative off the battery and put it back on i hear the door locks like they either unlocked or locked, whenever i mess with the power lock fuse its the same thing. whenever i pull the fuse and put the fuse back in i hear the door locks again. is there a short somewhere? either way i tried looking at a parasitic drain on my battery as it keeps dying and i believe it has to do with the door locks. whenever i use my Multimeter to check the parasitic drain i pull the negative and touch the post with black lead and the neg cable with the red lead from multimeter. when they touch i hear the door locks again. is there a hot wire touching something that keeps the door locks moving everytime power hits them? also i pulled the fuse out completely of the power door locks and now i cant unlock the door with the door key as we dont have a master. we have 1 for ignition and 1 key for doors/trunk. would the fuse being out cause the door not to unlock? as of right now i have to get in with the trunk. any help on this issue would be greatly apprieciated. IM CONFUSED..sorry if some of this is confusing as i through my thoughts together to write this lol

something that keeps the door locks moving everytime power hits them
Is the key slot in the drivers door handle straight vertical, or is it kinda leaning to one side?
Stick the key in the drivers door and slowly twist to unlock the door.. Then lock. Then "center" the lock before removing the key.
See if that got rid of your battery draw.
