P2646 code... I'm stumped HELP
OK here goes the story. Girlfriends 2004 civic si threw this code p2646 and goes into limp mode.
Wiring looks good connections are clean.. I'm lost. HELP ME PLEASE
- Scan and replace pressure switch, unhook battery and pull fuse for ecu reset. Works for a day.
- Pull the vtec spool valve... screen is spotless.
- Do an oil change as suggested and another reset. Works for half a day.... back to limpmode and same code.
- Replace spool valve and do reset again. Works for 8 days and codes up again...

Try an oe vtec solenoid, just grab one from the junkyard. Little old lady might not have done much hard driving, or frequent oil changes. Could also try an oil flush but you just changed it.
