car won't turn over. This is all I found on my own. I'm not the most car savvy individual but I've always done my own work. I don't know it this is the cam shaft pulley, harmonic balancer, or what. I would appreciate any help I could get as to how I replace this. YouTube link would be sooooo helpful.

Looks like the camshaft pulley. How did you manage to do that? It would be best to do a timing belt job and replace the pulley while the belt is off. There are DIYs on here somewhere.

Any fault codes? I wonder if that missing piece fell down and damaged the crankshaft position sensor which is why it won't start.

Broken cam pulley, not good. Hopefully the broken chunk only damaged the crank sensor.
new timing belt, tensioner, and water pump. If the crank sensor is damaged only buy an OEM one

also check if coolant reservoir is full - if it is it will also need to do a head gasket change (easier to do during timing belt change).
buy only OE sensors, denso are them
