Did you try searching? I just searched for "unorthodox" and there was more than enough info, try that!

The problem wasn't with the pulleys, only I had the problem right after I installed the pulleys and the dealer wouldn't fix it because of the pulleys. The pulleys have been great.

Hey Family Man, oBX has a 3 pully set, do you think there worth getting.

I read what you wrote about making the engine rev quicker and having less engine braking. (pullys slowing you down at high speeds)

Give me you feed back?

I know this is a stupid question, but what belt is attached to the pulley, cause mines making too much noise.

I don't know anything about the OBX set. To answer the next question: both the belts in the Civic are attached to the crank pulley. If they are noisy, they (or one) are probably loose. Check it.

I have heard that it is bad on a car that is idling, is this true and does it have an affect in the long term for our cars?(it seems as though it would make our engines work harder)

wtf is that guy talking about, more stress on the engine, the pulleys are smaller and lighter so it would put lessssssss stress on the engine, see if the engine doesnt have to work so hard it wont put as much stress on it, geeze these harvard grads

maybe you misunderstood me but it is harder on your engine in idling. think about the rotation, smaller pulleys let say is 1/2 the size of stock pulleys, that would be that it takes 2 rotations to get the rotation of the stock pulley. therefore the internal parts of your engine would be turning 2 times instead of 1 wouldn't that mean your engine is working harder??And yeah I must have rode the short bus to Harvard! Regardless if it is lighter or not it is still working the motor just as hard if your talking about revolutions. I though was only asking a question sorry you cant answer it w/out being a ---- .
