P0135 and P0141 codes HELP!!

Since I did a motor swap and complete engine harness swap these code will not go away. I replaced both O2 sensors with brand new factory Denso sensors when I tested them I was getting resistance. I do not seem to be getting 12v from the harness side. Ideas please, I’m mechanically inclined however electrical is not my forte. Thank you

Checked fuses? Everything is plugged in properly? What engine and harness did you put into what car?

Fuses are all good I know because I replaced the entire fuse box as well as all fuses and tested it. The engine is a D12A2 with the same harness as well. I just did an exact replacement of the stock motor. All plugs have been cleaned with electrical contact cleaner and are firmly connected.

New harness might be damaged,
Still have your original harness?

I do not have the other harness as it had been cut and repaired a few times from previous owner so I decided to replace. However the codes existed with that harness as well. Could this be a ecm issue?

Re: P0135 and P0141 codes HELP!!

D17a1 and D17a2 engine harnesses are different with the secondary O2 sensor. The D17a1 harness has the secondary O2 sensor circuits, the D17a2 harness does not.

Just curious what this has to do with my post? I am using the exact same equipment so there should be no issue there. Also I am not a Honda Tech so I am just looking for a solution to my code issues

Your fault code for the secondary O2 sensor....

Unless you swapped the engine compartment harness as well that explains why you have that fault. On the D17a2 the secondary O2 sensor circuits are part of the engine compartment harness, not the engine harness.

It's a possibility especially if the original harness was all hacked

I did not change the engine compartment harness so I see what you are saying there. The codes are coming up for both O2 sensors not just the secondary. I did not have these codes on the previous engine/harness setup which is what made me think it was the new setup

Re: P0135 and P0141 codes HELP!!

For the primary sensor I would start with verifying continuity through the harness. Especially sense it was hacked up.

You're banned for being an idiot. I'm looking at your screen and the first thing I'd have done is replace the TPS. It's not that hard.

PS: I named my car "The Deluxe". If she's real good, I get out a can of spray paint and touch up the rust.
