Passenger door locks but driver side doesn't

Passenger door locks but driver side doesn't
My 2001 EX Coupe with the door lock switch and key fob the passenger side will lock and unlock but I have to manually lock the driver side. The driver side lock doesn't move or respond to either switch or fob. Any idea what it is?

Bad actuator or broken wires in the door

After reading through other people's posts it seems like a common issue. I'll pull the door panel and check it out thanks!

not panel, the boot covering the wires at the hinges
