Honda 2004 Civc Hybrid ( just brought it)
I notice the Brake and ASB dash lites where on. I checked under the hood and notice the fuse was blown. I went to replace it and as soon as I put it in it blow out again. Every time I tried to replace it it went out. I replace the fuse box and it did the same thing. I didn't see anything wrong with the wires near where it was plug in.

I got this car used and notice that was use to be an alarm in it that is still connected

Any suggestions

Does The ASB wire go from the fuse box under the hood to the fuse box inside. I wanted to know the best why to chase the wire.

there is an SRS unit behind the dash in between - i think there are two modules
electrical issues are a pain, you need to chase the short

Would it just be easier to replace the plug with the wires all together

depends where the short is located... It's common to have rodents chew the wires, colder now, warm engine, they get under and start a nest
