Re: Civic wheel bounce

read the 2nd sentence too

just because others do, I would not... waste of tires and wear on suspension, mounts, more money later
it will only show off the engine, not your skills, so nothing to bloat about.
put some cheap tires with low grip instead if you insist in doing it. Also, lift car and inspect for worn bushings, engine/trans mounts. And the shocks

Re: Civic wheel bounce

you are more likely to impress people by doing a three wheel cornering throughout the whole corner - civics are better at that, cornering.
and requires skill. Not only a bought engine
better for suspension wear than just burn-outs and requires high grip tires instead of low grip tires (which are also dangerous in streets)
PS: read about autocross, SCCA, don't do this on the streets

many FWD cars does this if properly setup

Re: Civic wheel bounce

In general, stiffer engine mounts, stiffer suspension, and a traction bar (if applicable) are the best options to get rid of wheel hop.

Unfortunately not. I don't own a 10th gen and I've never had issues with wheel hop.
