2019 Turbo 1 low revs noise.

2019 Turbo 1 low revs noise.
I've had this car for just 2 weeks and yes the dealer is going to look at it but in the meantime perhaps some of the experienced people on here might like to offer a suggestion. At low revs such as taking off or reversing, there is a distinctive knocking noise. It is quite high pitched, not a thud. I can't hear the sound under normal driving speeds.
My son in aw is a mechanic and has suggested that it might be the timing belt tensioner beyond that we are mystified.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

not an engine modification, rather a mechanical issue, moving to proper section.
