I have a copy of an AEM cold air intake and it was pretty loud and sounded nice, my friend revved the engine under the hood (without stepping on the pedal) and I think he did something to it. It doesn't sounded the same and when I push the gas hard it doesn't even seem to be connected any ideas what he may have done?

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, just make sure the throttle cable is properly routed -it goes 180 degrees in that groove in the disc thing on the throttle body before it loops back into the cable housing.

Rep Power: 0 when he said... "my friend revved the engine under the hood (without stepping on the pedal) " he didn't mean he adjusted the throttle. He revved the engine without the pedal, you know...
Anyway... You did check the intake if it's still on properly right? Check the rubber links and see if there's a leak..

Rep Power: 0 there's a little **** or hatever you call it that moves when the pedal gets de-pressed. If you open up your hood and have someone rev your car for you, you'll see it. It's located near the rear of the engine.
