I actually did the install of my SRI in 30 minutes. It was that easy. All you need is an 8mm wrench, 10mm wrench and a slotted screwdriver. I'll see if I can borrow my little bros power screwdriver + deep sockets. That'll make it 10x easier to get to a few of the bolts.
slikor: I got in on that deal that Rob@Tornactive has on the Goldlines. It was way too sweet of a deal to pass up.

I have a socket kit in my trunk.. like 200 pieces.. so I'll have PLENTY of tools. I also have a tie rod remover, but not a spring compressor. we may be able to do the install without one; my friend and I did mine without it. as far as the spring installation, my friend works in a garage, so he pretty much did all the work as I watched and helped with a few things. He had an impact gun too, which made things so much easier. I could probably do the install again, but I've never had to disassemble the strut. hopefully there will be someone one else there that knows a bit about spring installation?

Heh, I was kidding man. I'd like to get my springs installed this weekend @ the meet, but I don't think being ~200 miles away from home, trying to install springs is a good idea. Taking them to a shop is the best solution, so that they get installed properly. I'd hate for one of us to put our eye out trying to take apart the strut and stuff. BTW, you still gonna be able to bring your part?

hmm...80 degrees. excellent
I'll have a rear strut bar to install...i think thats about it. ill bring my goldlines which are still in the box, but i'm not gonna get my hopes up on getting them put on. my carbon fiber hood came and i have that on in time for the meet, but i wont have time to adjust the goofy fitment or get the black trim piece that i need so its kinda gonna look weird.
also when i went out to check things out the other day there were only 2 fast food places that i could see that werent off track..they were both mcdonalds. this one is right across the street from the terrace parking lot:

and this one was right after the intersection where you turn right onto old courthouse rd...

one other place which might be kinda fun to caravan through is a ford dealership just a block or 2 down from the first mcdonalds..i didnt get a picture of it, but it would be funny as hell to see the looks on people's faces to see 10-15 beautiful civic's in a line passing through the parking lot
Hell, it might actually change any potential ford buyer's minds into heading down to a honda dealership instead
and all would be right with the world
or would it

looks like the mcdonalds in the first pic is bigger than the other.. did you notice which one had more occupancy? I would guess the one at the mall since they get all the mall traffic.

I don't care where we meet as long as the food is edible, and doesn't eat back...
Also, I'd be hilarious to drive by the Ford dealership

There's also a Honda dealership down there...hmmm...

Haha, no more Frederick for me! I had enough. (no offense of course!) I go to Monmouth U., which is about 20 minutes from my house!
And about that other meet with the people from H-T. I am all for it as well. This is going to be one GREAT weekend. I get to see so many of my friends, do LOTS of car stuff and watch some field hockey. What else could a girl ask for?

Yay! New parts coming in! I just ordered a set of rims a few minutes ago and they should be here sometime early to the mid of next week! Too bad they're not here in time by the meet. I'm moving along on my car pretty quickly. It's just hard for me to part with money.
The unveiling will be done shortly!

Okay guys, I'm almost all ready to go! I've spend about ~3 hours working on cleaning my car inside and out. I've got a bit more to go - gotta vacuum and clean the glass from the inside. The back window is always a pain.
Upon cleaning my car today, I found I've got a few 'imperfections' in my car. One is that my windshield has apparently been hit by a few rocks and there's a couple of very very small dings in it. ARGH! Not too bad that I need to worry right away, and I'm sure a quick patch job could be done on em. Secondly, I've noticed I've got a dent about my driver's door, along the roofline! How in the hell that got there, I have no clue! It's not too bad and it looks like it could just be pulled out with a plunger or something. So, a favor I ask of you guys is, if any of you have that Dent King tool thingy or something similar, could you please bring it? I'd like to see if we can pull this out. It shouldn't be that hard at all.
Welp, I'm excited, but not at the same time. I'm not looking forward to the ~3 hour drive. That's gonna suck! But it shouldn't be too bad. I want to try to get out of here and on the road by 8 tommorrow if I leave then. Who knows, I might leave tonight and stay with my gf's grandparents in Alexandria/Fort Belvoir. Well, whatever, I'll end up there one way or another.
