I'll be there, weather permitting. AFAIK, weather is sposed to be perfect for the meet.
I need to get my car prepped for the meet. I've got to wash it and get off my rear and get to Home Depot or something and get some plywood and stuff so I can mount my amp on the back of my seat. Something I've been meaning to do for a few months.
And then I've got to wash my car too. As most of you know, we're under strict water restrictions here in VA.
FYI, I ordered some springs and they should be here Friday! Just in time for the meet! I think this might make for a interesting project if you guys are up to it.
Mex and theguysmiley, are our plans still on? I think it'll make for an interesting meet.

Seth--I am pretty sure that you can take your car to the self-serve car washes....like the one I used to live at in Frederick was off of 26. But, I'm sure you know all about those! And please, no need to worry about dirty cars, we all know we keep 'em clean (weather permitting!)

where i live there was a front page newspaper article a few weeks ago about residents complaiing about getting fines for excessive and unecesary water usage...its serious here. if i washed my car at my house (the only way to get it really clean) my neighbors would probly report it and i'd get fined....ugh...damn drought
thanks Steph, i do know of a few other car washes around, but they do about a good a job as the drive through ones...they did something to them to make them use less water, and they all seem to work even worse now.

Yep. State mandated by the governor himself. The only places that aren't affected are the Eastern Shore and the very western part of the state. Pretty much the only places that aren't affected are by large sources of water.
You can take your car to a car wash place that uses recycled water and stuff. I think that's what I may have to do. Either that, or take it to my dad's office and wash it out there. Having a family member that owns their own business that'll let you do whatever you want ... Priceless.
I need to work pretty hard on my car the next few days to get everything ready. Hopefully it'll be done in time.

I really hope it doesn't rain

Mex: great news about the SRI...are ya gonna wait to put it on till sat??? (it'll be hard but you can do it
)
Steph & Mex: the throttle cable adjustment is a minor mod, but its still noticable, it just removes the [bountiful] slack in the throttle cable so the gas pedal is essentially more responsive. i'd be happy to do it on anyones car if they want, its very simple and only requires a set of pliars or a small wrench to do.

Mex,
Here's a deal for you. My springs will be in on Friday. Since you have experience installing those, you can do mine! And, I just recently installed an AEM SRI on my car, so I'll go ahead and do yours. How's that sound?
