Need Va peeps help

My uncle in Va beach passed away today and we are driving down from NY tom. I got directions from Mapquest and it says that I have to take US 13 from NJ Turnpike. My question,
Is US 13 a hwy or does it have any traffic lights to chesapeake bay tunnel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im not sure but i guess its steering you clear of i-95 and other roads so it probably does
