I don't hate them, but I don't prefer them either. I honestly could care less about a Mustang, fixed or whatever. But thats how I feel about every other car.
Just like in racing, its the driver that makes the car.
If the driver is cool, I could care less if he was driving a Pinto. If the driver is a complete idiot, then his car is just an extension of his/her weaknesses and doesn't deserver to be noticed.
That is of course unless its a HOT chick.

Rep Power: 0 I had a 92 Gt stang back in 95. The power steering went out 3 times the first month I had it. The dealer bought it back for what a paid for it to make a long story short. I have been a little biased since then. They are fast as hay but a little redneck looking. Plus, the reliability is still terrible to this day.

Rep Power: 0 Thanks netcbc. The bad news is I'm slow as heck (but not the slowest one out there). The good news is I haven't been beat yet. There are about 40 to 50 cars running the Street Legal Series this year. The website is updated after every event we run, whether it's drag racing or autocross. It's a blast, and of course there's even more "good news" on the website

Rep Power: 0 I dont mind them, I had one out one day and took it for a good rip, wasnt that bad. Although it was a Ford, it wasnt that bad, but down the road they wont hold up. But yeah the drivers need an attitude adjustment.

My boy has a 1988 Mustang GT with t-tops and an automatic tranny. He has a vortech supercharger, and is pushing 525hp plus. The car runs 11.22 in the quarter mile at 122 miles an hour. That car is insane. I love imports and I love mustangs....

Rep Power: 0 Well i'm not gonna hate on the mustangs they are fast as hell when u get the right one and they are wicked supe up but damn they are just not made like they were used to ....i work at a local PENZOIL and the damn cars if they are drivin like they are supposed to are always leaking from the rear main and the tranny ......i wouldn't wanna have to always deal with having a not even year old are and always have to reach the dealership and get the damn things fixed shouldn't be like that in the first place........well i guess that is ford for ya....FOUND ON ROAD DEAD ....even with their best car they are playin around with people but it still sells so i can't say nothing really...... but when u drive one that isn't yours WHOA power is there for sure at the wheels ....... especially if it's tha ones with the dual exaust like the SALEENS whoa i driven a few of those and if i had one of those for sure they will be replacing s#!^ like hell on my warrantee because i would drive it hard as hell........the best way to drive them slow just doesn't feel right.

Rep Power: 0 Why do people have to "hate" cars. People have their own taste and it's just like anything else you wear or use. People just don't prefer it, but i wouldn't call it hate. Just because you hang out with asians does that mean you hate white people and blacks and hespanics? That's royally retarded if you're going to go around and say, oh i hate that car or i hate mustang owners. What's to hate? Their loud roaring engine that rattles or the poor quality of the build? More of a perference than hate.
I have respect for every driver and their car. It's their choice, their car that they love to drive (or are stuck with

Rep Power: 0 I don't Hate mustangs but i do dislike them a little bit, reason being, EVERYBODY AND THEIR MOM HAS ONE, they have to be the most played out car in the world. and i like the new ones a little but i have a slight problem with mustang owners whi think that they are the center of the world.

but yea...some of them Mustang drivers can be a bit cocky...one of my friends was talkin crap to my other friend sayin he could beat his civic....it was a 2002 Civic EX with I/H/E(the exhaust had no catalyic converter or something) and my other friend had a 98 V6 mustang...lets put it this way....the guy with th mustang got embarrased...i guess he disgraced his mustang...
but me....im pretty much all cool with cars...but it all depends on the driver...if the driver is an ***....then its bad...

Rep Power: 0 i love all cars regardless of brand, specifically I love all cars with powerful engines. the saleen mustang, for example, is a powerhouse as well as this guy's mustang gt (he owns a dyno shop in clearwater) that's supercharged and has ~950hp. a stock mustang gt, however, is something very sad, the top of the line having 4.6L V8 260HP and it gets consistently beat by my friend and his '01 ITR that has 1.8L inline-4 181HP as measured on the dyno. However, going to the drag strip and losing so much to a lot of diff. brand-name cars has a way of humbling you

Personally i would love one of the late 60's models, but it wouldn't be practicla for me. At the locat race scene in Minneapolis/St. Paul this guy shows up in his saleen and jsut drives around looking at other peoples cars revving his engine when he feels like it, but he won't do any bunouts which i respect, seems like a cool guy though

Rep Power: 0 probally the bigest reason i hate mustang owners is because they hate us, i mean, i have nothing against their cars, besides they break down and arnt very efficient <sp> but everytime i go to talk to one at the track they dont even take me seriously just becasue i have a civic. but on the bright side, at least it makes it a lot more fun when i beat them[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]. maybe im biased, but i have good reason. my girlfriends brother drives a mustang <with indiglo pedials and shift ****, no less...can you say american rice?!> and hes the BIGEST loser ive ever met....so until i meet a really nice mustang owner, im still going to shake my head when they pull up with me at the stoplight...

I've noticed that a lot of girls here drive mustangs [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] but I definitly hate young punks in the 5.0L mustangs. I've raced one 5L and beat him. He would have spanked me but the 5 big guys(meat heads) in his car really slowed him down.

Rep Power: 0 my best friend has a V6 99 Mustang and I still like that car even though its slower then my civic(and he isn't an A$$), also another of my friends has a V8 GT 98 Mustang and he hasn't had any problems with it
