Don't hate mustangs at all. In fact I have a lot of respect for them. I'm not one of those little punks that go out on the street and try these V8's like an [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG]. What I don't like are cocky stangers. But hey, can you blame them sometimes? I mean, if you hacd a 320 HP ride, and some little punk in a civic pulls up to you at the light, revvin' like he's actually gonna go somewhere, wouldn't you be a little cocky? I totally understand why some stang drivers don't like us Civic owners, but then again I see our side of the story too. It's kinda like one of those neverending feuds thing. You know, like Ford vs. Chevy. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] I think it's kinda funny and exciting too. But I digress...I don't hate Mustangs, or their drivers in general. I just don't like dumb and mean people.

well not all them new mustangs are slow...i think it all depends on the driver....
my two friends raced....one had a 2001 Civic EX...the other a 2000 DX...and the DX won 4 out of 5 races...we gave the EX the last race...it was more like a tie...but yea...
oh and heres the list of ranking in the Mustang department...
V6, GT, Cobra(2003 has 390 HP and 390 Torque...God that thing is gonna be tight), Roush(Stage 1, 2, 3), Saleen S281, Saleen S281E, Saleen S351(is not made anymore), Saleen SR(not to sure if they still make this one), and Saleen S7(you will be on lucky person if you ever saw this one on the road)

a lot of peeps get confused by which one is which...just the other day this guy thought "My car" was a Saleen...he said he can keep up with Saleens and Cobras...so i thought i was toast...we race...and what happens...Im still scratching my head wondering how he can keep up with saleens and cobras if he just got beat by a V6 automatic?

but its all good....i got love for all cars...im not trying to hate....just trying to get info...gotta know what im up against on the road...

i HATE most mustang owners. the mustang itself is a tight as hell car. the cocky owners are another story. funny thing is my car owns any mid90s mustang on the road. they hate it when a "Taurus" smokes em. hehe.

I find the cars kinda... ugly... but thats just because every redneck and his cousin has one around here... so i got very, very, very sick of them...

On another note - anyone notice that Ford Expedition drivers really like to tailgate and speed? Maybe it's just the look of the truck in your rearview its so big that it looks like its right on your ***... I don't know... I just notice that EVERY SINGLE TIME a ford expedition is behind me, he's tailgating and passes very rudely the first chance they get. I adhere to the speed limit or 10 above 90% of the time so its not as if i drive *slow* but it isnt fast enough for expedition drivers [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I hate all mustangs except the cobra that is the only one I respect, they have too many issues for me.

I personally don't care for the Mustang at all. I don't remember the last time it was actually a 5.0L does anyone else? What I hate the most are the punks from the burbs who's parent's paid for the stang so their kid can go out and pretend he's freakin' John Force against old ladies in there Buick Roadmasters and Corollas.
I used to drive a 1974 Camaro and belonged to this car club who's president had a Buick Grand National (sweet ride) that had plates reading "5ltr etr".

i'm really down on american cars reliability. been bit too many times. so i dont know if i would ever buy one. i do think the cobras are tuff. i love the way they look. a buddy of mines dad has a 98 i believe with the roush package. he enters it in shows all the time. man that car is sweet. i think they still feel like a muscle car unlike the camaros and firebirds. i have hated those things since the early 80's. they just keep getting uglier and uglier. i used to have a 78 trans am with a 400 in it and i tell you it sure is nice to have that power.
i can appreciate most cars. it's pretty stupid to make generalized statements about how you hate mustang owners. i've run across as many import owners that are a$$holes as i have mustang owners.

My 96 Cobra was far from trash. I wasnt cocky, but I find now that I drive an import, I am. You cant judge any certain kind of car or driver just be one or two or even a dozen people.
