Cleared my headlights. Was lazy and didn't seal it up with silicone. They fogged up and I had to do the whole thing over again the next week.

touching the chrome isnt the prob... its getting the factory black sealer off that you accidentally smudge on there ! .... tip rubbing achohol and patinets work wonders !

my headlights arent that bad.. not the greatest clear job but the dont leak and the only problem is some one little black smudge inside that only i noticed... oh and some extra silcon (i didnt want it to leak)...
but stupidest diy was the vtec light - great for dohc cars the have some lift... but in our cars its just dumb... im turning it into a shift light for my tac its right in my gauge pod so its a really nice location and all i need to do is take off the resisters and its bright as hell

clearing headlights wasnt too bad, cause they turned out very good in the end. but i did mess up when i did them.

the stupidest thing i did was forgetting to tighten the nut on top of the strut when grey and i installed my springs. we forgot about it and i took a test drive (thanks to noname) and notised an unusual grinding noise. checked it out and found out what the problem was. if i didnt look under there i could have probably died if the strut fell off or something. oops.

I haven't messed anything up (knock on wood) I did get some black stuff on my headlights but you can't even see it......I have only had one major problem and it was when Blown, Cisco88 and I installed my Koni's we couldn't get the top nut off to get the hat of the strut off...so we had to drill it off.....

But install is great......the only thing I don't like is if I turn my wheel all the way to one direction in a fast turn...I kinda hear a shifting knock......

I was changing the filter on my intake and some how i dropped a screw driver inside the fender. I knew i lost it but didnt know exactly where it was. I fell out on the freeway and i think i may have caused an accident or at least cracked someones window.

Lets see...

Ive lost a socket in my engine compartment, screwed up my interior switch thingy, broke 2 neons (none of which were my fault), oh and the worst was...

I was hooking up some interior neons, and I was powering the switch. Well, being I was a n00b, I hooked it up to the postive connection on my battery first. So I was pulling a livewire through the firewall, it hit some metal, and it started to spark. I was really scared :/

Well When I was changing my rear brakes I had a pair of neednose pliers pulling on one of the springs....and pulling toward me(like a dumbass) to release the tension. Well they slipped off the spring and i managed to stab myself on the inside of my nose almost completely going through my septum(that part that separates your nostrils) Talk about ouch. Nearly knocked my *** out and bled like a b*tch.

never really screwed up yet! i guess im just lucky

headlights, tail lights, underglow lights, fog lights (thats a lot of friggen lights), aluminum mesh install, headunit dash install/wiring, new horn install/wiring, amp wiring, sub wiring, rca wiring, (thats a lot of friggen wiring).. and thats it.. oh.. rims.. lol.. i dont think that really counts.. kinda tough to mess up

WAIT now that i think of it, i did mess up on the rims.. i used the OEM lugs on tuner wheels and well.. only about one thread of the lug was holding the wheel!! damn thing was almost falling off!! (but i got a set of tuner lugs the next week or so.. so it was ok)

next DIY is putting in coilovers.. shouldnt be too hard since i have a pro helping me out.. and putting on a license plate cover.. i think i can handle that
