CIVIC's are too HIGH?
Does everyone think that their Civic's are too HIGH, in comparison to a CELICA?
I've driven a Celica and it has exactly the same driver and passenger space as a CIVIC BUT.. the car is a good 4'' lower than our cars!!!!
SHOULD HONda make the top a bit lower???? cuz there is a noticable curve and the seats sit quite high..
Just wanted to see what everyone thinks because I personally like cars that are low low low. =)

at 140 HP.. I wouldn't reallllly call it a sports car... adding the words "sports" just gives Toyota the reason to make it so expensive...
NO matter how low i lower it.. 4 inches is impossible.

they're under the sporty car category I think...
as for the 140 hp... the GTS pumps out a good 180... and 160+ at the wheels.. pretty impressive...
of course its nothing super.. but the GTS is still pretty quick/fast

Do you mean the overall height? Comparing the tops of the roofs?
The Civic has a lot more head room than the Celica. I was looking at the GT-S before I decided on the Civ. I like to sit more upright when I drive, so one of the problems I had with the Celica was that my head would brush against the headliner. Since I wanted a GT-S (standard w/ sunroof(?) but I wanted a sunroof anyways) I was SOL.
Well, my taste in cars changed and I was looking at sedans. I sat in the Civic EX Sedan, and there was PLENTY of space between my head and the headliner.

i was only 1 inch off the ground. but now im back to regular dropped height 2 inches dropped
so its fine.. i break and go slow... i dont care whos behind me!
Man if you really want bad ride quality, come visit me in Montana. Paved roads here are a luxury, most of the time I ride around on gravel, and it's a pain in the a$$ - literally ...
A small price to pay for such a sweet looking ride!
Edit: Note, I have the Neuspeed Sport Springs with 17" Wheels

Anyway, our Civics are perhaps a bit too high. At least higher than the previous 2 gens.

So now, what about the SI (SIR)... I personally think that that car is a bit toooo big!!!!.
I guess Imports are starting to aim for the american/canadian crowd where people are a bit taller / bigger ..

I don't think it is too high in the least. The headroom is just adequate as it is. I have neuspeed sport springs and the car looks awesome. I don't bounce all over the place and the ride isn't bad at all. I do have to go very slow over speed bumps and things of that nature. Oh, and the handling is awesome.
