Need Help Quick!!!!

Hey wassup everyone...my sisters friend has decided to sell his white automatic 98 acura integra to me for 6,000 dollars...he says that there have been many modifications that have been done to his car..and that the only reason why he is sellin it is because he wants a new car....now my questions is...since imma go check out the car tomm...wut are some questions that i should ask him...what are some stuff i should look more closely to...and around wut kind of mileage should it be around...i really dont wanna get ripped off...like the car breakin down after a couple months and so forth...so any help is appreciated...

yeah. think about it for a sec. a modded car usually means its been drivin hard. therefore will have more wear and tear. even tranny problems.

i agree with sadboy on this one. i would only buy a modded car if the seller was family. but if you do decide to check it out, look for body damage, check the smell of the oil and so forth.

btw: do you drive a 7th gen? an automatic integra doesn't have a whole lot of potential IMO

98 teggy for 6,000$$$ pretty good price (unless it has 100,000 mi)........
Rev the engine and check for black smoke out the exhuast....
Grab hold of the axle by the u-joint and shake like hell.....(make sure you don't have to replace c-v joints and crap.....
Drive it.....if anything feels funny question him.........
Before you buy it, just take it to a shop and have them do a 30 point inspection thing for 45$$......
Save you a grip.......bring the paperwork back to him.......might be able to jew him down a litlle......
check for crap in the oil too.....metal flakes and crap......

i agree if you want a intergra go buy a non modded one from a dealership i mean most people that mod there car race it and what not but if it was a show car or something thats never been ran lol go for it

ill keep all these suggestions in mind when i go check out the car tomm...i dont think he would try to rip me off since its my sisters friend...but ya never know...im really hopin that when the dude said it is highly mod he meant the typical I/H/E...lol...but well see...well ill update ya all on how it goes

6k for a 98 teg? smellz fishy.. car fax time!!!!!!!!!!!!! prolly flooded or salvage..... and don't look on the exterior. cosmetic can make car look factory new...
