$19,000 SR20det 240sx????
well apprently thats what the kid says he has into it, i'll let you decide.
stock sr20det with shiny ebay manifold, and a front mount setup. lets see if you can figure out whats wrong with the engine bay. This kid claims $19,000 in the 240 yet has to have lolitapierce's(sandy) dad get it running for him, and that he is a drifter. Last I checked a big wing dosen't make your crappy car a drift car.

yes garden hose

throttle cable to long? jsut put a knot in it

dont mind the fat guys, shirtless guy is sandy's dad, my dad is in the simpsons shirt, both makeing fun of the car.

yes thats right you can't drive it unless your 5'3" nice race seat install!!

yes real drifters use master craft

yet again the knot, oh and yes the broken TB that doen't ever close
and incase you didn't see any obvious reasones to why this car dosen't run let me list them. actually runs like complete Sh*t.
--Kid broke TB
--Fuel pressure regulator on wrong, he had the aftermarket one hooked up to the stock one.
--Air flow sensor and wire destroyed at bad atempt of wiring in a 300zx air flow meter.
--bone stock ka20 fuel sysetm on sr20det
And did anybody else notice the BOV is on the wrong side of the pipeing? I mean I guess it works but usually you want to put it after the intercooler not before it.

oh yeah suspension wise, ebay strut bars front and bacl, tien springs on tokico hp blues, not reall ya good drift setup if you ask me.
and this was just finny, the power went out today so I hooked up the essentials, fridge, fan, tv, and yes the barrery charger to charge the bike battery.

i think this deserved its own thread.
reasons just a few quotes
"I'm a drifter"
"yeah with a little more money your turbo H22 CRX will be up with this car" (directed towards Sandy's dad)
"We call it the beast"
"Its faster than my buddies skyline"
Where the fu(k does Sandy find these people at?? I hate idiots maybe if he was like 16, but the guy is 20.

When I got my first civic (eg) we found that some douche in the shop had put a piece of garden hose on the engine to save some money. Does the guy that drives that car wear a helmet that has smiley stickers, and says "I wear this helmet for your protection and mine."

First off, it appears that he also has attempted to put a shitty lip kit onto his car. Second, I see more stickers on the car then paint. Third, what the hell is that huge fvcking pipe in the center of the car on that interior shot?

the huge pipe is his exhaust that he dosen't knwo how to put on. and most of the stickers are crap like, "drifting's not a crime" "crappy performance brakes" "crappy performance clutch"
so where is the other $18,750 that was left over from this build? Ive pulled muscle cars out of junkyards that were in better condition than that
people such as this should be shot in the *** twice tied up and thrown down a mountain in a port-a-potty

i do give him credit somehow he managed to get an SR20 bolted in there. but then again not sure if it was him or if he bought it like that. but if he did swap the engine in i would say so far with the over price of a 240sx cost should be about this.
horrible condition 240sx --- $1000
SR20det swap ---$3,000
Ebay manifold/pipeing --- $500
suspension --- $500
so maybe about $5,000 in all for this 240sx. I would give the guy $500 for it and make it a nice s15 silvia clone.

the kid jsut wants it to run, but im pretty sure he'll fix the throttle cable by shortening it, and have to replace the TB. He already hooked the fuel pressure regulator up liek it should be. but im sure it'll still be rigged since he won't buy the parts, will just put on/fix what is there. and yes its awsome to have an amazing mechanic next door.
