I am buying a 92 240sx with 190k miles for 1500.... and my shop (garage kwai) will do the complete swap for 4g (iincluding engine)... WILL AN SR20DET PASS EMITIONS? if so how do you guys do it? my friend said that if u put alcahol or race fuel in it.. it iwll pass.. but im not sure.. cuz i want this car 2 be smog legal... anyone wiht any comments could help PLEEAASSEE!!!!

i dont think it would be. they stopped making them because of emissions in japan, but their laws are different from ours. as far as putting alcohol in your car? wouldnt that be harmful?

i dont know.. i called a few speedshops.. and they said that they can make the engine smog legal easy... asfar as passing the sniffer part of the emissions test.. i dont know how there gonna go about it.. if it means putting an extra cat on it or wat.. il just have it tested b4 the swap.. then i wont have 2 worry about it for 2 years..
