Yeah, taillights are the ugly ones we have all seen. Shape looks similar. Horsepower is 5 less. Worse fuel economy. No 6 speed. More torque. Not as much features, but fully loaded price is 24,895 MSRP for v6 LX

Fully loaded accord v6 ex is 26,850 minus the navigation, since the sonata doesnt offer that. Accord comes with immobilizer, 4-5 star crash test ratings, 10 less cubic inches room, front and rear air conditioning, premium radio, cd changer, dual power seats, moon roof, ulev, smaller displacement

you can get a fully loaded 2005 accord exv6 sedan for under 25k
since the msrp on the hyundai is 25k, you can probably get that for about 21k.

There has been a lot of flack from people on the Autoweek forums how Hyundai still can't hire a stylist...

I like the old Sonata better. It looked like they aimed a lot higher then the Accord and went for a Benz/Jaguar look.

The sonata is supposed to look like an accord. Hyundai has been using Honda as their model for years. When the Kia's first came out (the other Korean automaker) They sold their product as Honda clones. Hyundai does the same thing, since they can sell the same feel for 70% of what Honda does.

BTW: I drove a sonata for a week while my car got some TLC and it was a good ride, if a little boat-like in the corners.
