What have others done when buying alloy wheels, did you order online or go to a local shop? I'm starting to look for some now, probably in the 16-17" range. Last set I got on my Accord were used from right here in Ottawa. I know of kanatatireandrim.com but not sure where else I can go locally.

I've ordered online. Then again, I've found sites that do "free shipping over $X," which has saved me a bunch.
thmotorsports.com does free shipping for orders over $75 (bulky items excluded for reasons), but that only applies to continental US orders. I'd shoot them an email if you see rims you like, see what their international shipping costs are like, or if they can get you a deal.

I don't know about local stores that ship wheels :| There is a car care center in Etobicoke which provides accessories for cars http://www.serviceplus416.com/. They have a wide range of tires. Just hit the store if you stay nearby
