i know how you all feel. i go to college to be a mechanic and of course all my friends there are domestic gear heads. they all hate on hondas but im slowly converting them. (and i in no way act like my car is fast i know its slow)

one of my friends has a 95 merc cougar xr7.. 140 hp 215lb-ft. he brags and brags its fast yet i pull on him everytime he tries to race me

another friend has a pontiac gtp that he dumped 12 grand into the engine and runs 13.6 at the track and i tell him that if i dumped that much i would destroy him in the quarter mile and run circles around him in the autocross

my other friend has a cobra convertible and brags abd brags about how fast it is and always says how his car is so much nicer than my civic... well hes the most ignorant import flamer ive ever met because he doesnt realize that a civic is in no way comparable to a cobra and obviously his car is faster... he also tries to tell me that he would spank an s2000 in autocross .... these dam kids dont realize that its not all about the straight line.

I went to U.T.I. to be a mechanic and all those redneck ****'s are all so dumb. Of course there's no replacement for displacement but I like to go fast and get better gas milage than 8mpg. Thank god for forced induction.

i was considering uti or wyotech but too far i live in mass.
the part i find funny is ricers are typically known for thinking that n.o.s. is god of all hp gains. and they will put it on anything. yet most of these domestic kids cant stop talking about putting it in their car. i just tell them bottles are for babies and they get pissed because they expect me to be all about nitrous because i own a honda.
