Whining noise

Okay I need some advice, cause I've about lost it at this point.I have a 2009 honda civic dx 1.8 sedan. So I've got a whining noise coming from the belt drive.Im 100% sure it is coming from the belt drive region because once I took the belt off the noise stopped completely. Alternator is less than a year old, and just today I replaced the belt tensioner(with new belt) and I also replaced the A/C clutch because the pulley was seizing up and causing my belt to smoke while I was driving.Good new A/C works now,bad news is the noise is still there and I'm at a loss at this point. Anyone that has had any experience with this issue that could steer me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.thank you!

Are you sure you haven't just overtightened the belt(s)?

 Automatic tensioner on these ones,
Check the tensioner pulley and idler pulley, cheap and easy to replace if it's one of them

Re: Whining noise

Take the belt back off and spin each pulley by hand. Which one makes noise?

When the noise originated i did that exact same thing before I had bought any of the parts. The a/c clutch pulley was grinding real bad if you spun it by hand but that was the only one.It almost sounds like the noise a power steering pump makes when its going bad when you turn the car but it doesn't make that sound when I turn the car.
