injen CAI not as good as AEM CAI?
does the AEM CAI has a better desing than the injen CAI?
it seems that the filter sittin in the bumper all enclosed doesnt get as much air as the AEM..

my aem short ram noises after 3k rpm. sounds nice but sacraficed my low end for high end. still a good investment over exhaust cuz cops are @ssholes here and pull u over for anything they can get you for.

P.S. that 1/4 time was also on 20+lb 17 inch wheels.
My car is an 01 Coupe DX. Mods were as follows at the time of that run. AEM CAI, DC sports ceramic header, Random Technology cat., Skunk2 Catback exhaust (exhaust system was converted to ex stuff), Unorthodox Racing Alternator and Power Steering Pulley (didnt have crank pulley put on), Neuspeed short shift adapter, Yokohoma Parada Spec 2 tires (very good grip on the drag strip), Venom 400 module. The interior was stripped and the wheels were some heavy 17in ADR's. I plan on getting a V2 intake, installing the crank pulley, getting an aem cam gear, stage 3 clutch, ACT 12lb flywheel, and nology hot wires. That will put the car in 14s NA. I live in Louisiana and we have a pretty good track out here. When it gets cold its really awesome cause its somewhat humid down here so the air is extra thick. Makes for really fast times compared to anywhere else.

The injen design is better, the filter is beside the radiator rather than behind it like AEMs.... its also shielded from all the heat of the engine bay and there's plenty of air in the bumper (there's several vents in the splash guard as well as air coming through the lower mouth of the bumper. The problem with it is that the fit leaves something to be desired. Either way, they don't do a whole hell of a lot.
Yes, it's an Acura EL

i will have to search for it
It was a year or two ago so I will have to search for it. If I remember correctly it ran 15.4 at 90mph. D17A1 responds way better to mods because its not pushed to the max from the factory like the D17A2 is. That is why the V2 intake makes 2 times more power on the dx than the ex. Although I would like to experiment with a D17A1 block and D17A2 head. would be a weird mini-me setup of the same gen motors

If you dont want to believe me thats fine, but mid 15s in a 7th gen is not that hard to do as long as your a good driver and you have enough mods.
Also I will soon be redoing all my cars performance and when I am done I will post the times.
