i was just wondering why you switched back to the K&N one? was there something wrong with the purolator one?

purolator just looked ghetto Also it's really humid all the time so the paper tended to get soggy.

^^hahah, i got the purolator too. thus all the questions. lol. i got worried for a second, because i thought there was something wrong with that filter. so, lets say that i dont care about looks, should i stick with the purolator one? or switch to K&N?

I guess it doesn't matter. Someone on here took apart an engine after a few years of K&N use and didn't find any scoring or abnormal wear.

the fipk dyno's at 4.8 hp. many members who have had both aem cai and fipk said the fipk is the true perfromance intake. search around ebay i guess. they usually go for 200-250 bucks. i got mine used for 60.

I didn't notice a decrease in sound. Maybe you just got used to it. Or maybe your stereo volume was up louder.
