The red line is at 6800 rpms. The tach in the cluster just looks like it goes to 7000 rpms.

It will be a big help for NA bolt ons too, with I/H/E mild p&p, mabie a cam gear and underdrive pullys id say adding this might ad up to 20 hp but thats being VERY generous...

but aside from max hp gain, you power curve will be much better than stock which will lower 0-60 or quarter mile times

Wanna bet? Take a look at my dyno plot for my turbo - the power goes all the way to redline....Raise the limiter and I can take advantage of it...

He should have said "thers no power past 6,500 RPM in an otherwise stock engine" If you signifigantly alter the torque curve, then sure, moving the rev-limiter may help, otherwise your just wasting time and accelerating slower.

I want it! Now all we need is some one to make cams and other internals and we are set! Unless some one already does and i'm uninformed?

Thanks for covering that for me. I surely was not refering to those of you lucky eneough to be boosted. It's actually nice to know that if I go boost I will make power up there, It would surely help my maniacly high speed on ramp runs

i think maybe. cause when they did the initial test, theyturned the vtec function off on the program cause our car doesn't have a vtec solenid or something like the k20 and the b's

i don't want to bug hondata with questions cause they don't know everything yet. we will just have to wait and see, I am(and its my car)

CARB Legal, yes and no.

The benefit of using Hondata is that the car is running on a stock ECM. It is only modified to allow the altering of the car's parameters. But everything still works, including the OBD II diagnostics. So if the car had the stock program installed, the car would run as stock. And it should pass the smog test.

Now, when you change one thing it is no longer running a CARB legal program. It may still pass smog, but it is not legal. Since the CARB certification runs with a set program, changing it voids the certification. So this part will never be CARB certified since it is a modification to deviate from the original programming.

But this is great news. Hondatas run cars very well, even with turbos or superchargers, the cars idle and run like stock, and then when under load, really perform. So you could boost, or add bolt ons and tune to maximum performance.

Yeah - that's what I'm waiting for! The emanage is a hack, plain and simple. The injector change feature of the k-pro would alleviate half of our problems with check engine lights, and idling issues! I hope it works out!

Yes you would. No cel's no playing with map sensor readings to trick the ecu to run rich or lean, being able to change timing being able to build a fuel and timing map over stock redline, the list goes on and on. Hondata is the ish.

The Hondata K-Pro is hands down, one of the nicest EMS I have seen thus far...It honestly puts the E-Manage to shame.
