Re: Brakes help

bleeding works for soft pedal, not hard pedal
have you checked lines, calipers, etc?
are some corners even wearing?

Re: Brakes help

Just had the same problem with a VW Passat. Replaced the master cylinder. Then blead the abs module again.

This car doesn't have ABS, and given the master cylinder was just replaced, this is unlikely.

I did buy master cylinder off of Amazon, I have a parts hatch I took that master cylinder tried it, it didn't change anything, so I bought the new one off Amazon. I'll have to change rear brake drum parts to see if it fixes anything..

What kind of hose are you using when bleeding? Does it go far enough out so you can see what the fluid looks like? Given the current scenario, the only reasonable assumption that I can come to is that there's still air in the lines.

I used cheap harbor freight bleeding tool, so it filled a cup up with fluid which was black, took probably 3 fills of the cup on each wheel to get ran fluid.. then I had somebody push pedal 3 times hold and did it that way on all corners.. used 3 big bottles of brake fluid
